Using comic life was fun. It was easy to use and I really think the children will enjoy using it and making their own comic sheets. I can use comic life in so many units about bugs, shapes, lines, really anything that the students can use a camera and connect with their surroundings. The students would really enjoy having a shape walk or whatever the unit may be. The children would love just exploring with not only the unit and connecting it with their world, but working with technology. The students knowledge would be put to the test and they would become the teacher teaching themselves and other what they have learned. Children will be responsible for there own learning and in a way that they understand. This comic life was not only fun for me, but it was very easy and simple to use. If learning how to use this was simple for me, children will be able to use it with ease. I had fun exploring and discovering the ideas and concepts with this program and I used my prior knowledge to help me in creating the page. I am positive that the children will do the same.

I will be teaching 2nd grade. Some standards I will be covering with be the relationships between plants and animals and the cycles of these plants. A good website is the Build a Prairie. The website can get a little frustrating, however, it does contain good information about plants and animals. Another standard is developing a sense of self n relation to families and different communities. I think the Williams Burg activities were great matching and literacy tools about the community. It also gives the students a feel of the colonial life and what they would have to do in that era. This site provided many levels for different levels of students. Other websites are really not very applicable to the grade level.
